Orland Lions Club Christmas Tree Lot Officially Open For Season

The organization's sale is its largest fundraiser, featuring trees, wreaths and wood crafts, and opens for the season Wednesday, Nov. 26.

ORLAND PARK, IL — The Orland Park Lions Club has kicked off its holiday season, with sales of live Christmas trees, wreaths and wood crafts.

The organization's largest fundraiser features handcrafted wooden snowmen and wooden reindeer, and true to tradition, the lot will once again offer some of the tallest trees available in the area.

Regular Sale Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 4 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Friday, November 28 (Day After Thanksgiving): 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Trees are wrapped for handling, loaded and secured to vehicles for free.

The organization is also accepting donations for used eyeglasses and hearing aids; anyone with items to donate should bring them to the lot. The club provides health care, financial and educational expense assistance to individuals in the community who are in need of help. Members have contributed hands-on assistance for community environmental and beautification projects. The club supports The Lions of Illinois Foundation, which provides assistance to adults and children who are hearing and visually impaired. In addition, the club supports The Sight First Program of Lions Clubs International, a global fundraising effort to prevent blindness and restore sight around the world.

Proceeds from the fundraiser support the Orland Park Lions Club’s mission of service. Chartered in 1964, the club provides assistance to those in need, supports vision and hearing initiatives, and works with local organizations to strengthen the community. Guided by the Lions’ global motto, “We Serve,” members dedicate time and resources to improving lives across Orland Park.
