Orland Park To Host Property Tax Appeal In-Person Workshop
The workshop will be held June 21.
ORLAND PARK, IL — The Village of Orland Park is partnering with Cook County 17th District Commissioner Sean Morrison and the Cook County Assessor's Office to host an in-person property tax appeal workshop at Village Hall on Wednesday, June 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Cook County Assessor’s office recently completed a reassessment of all properties in southern Cook County. When a property is reassessed, the property owner is mailed a reassessment notice, which contains the property’s address, characteristics, and estimated Fair Market Value. Village of Orland Park property owners were recently mailed their reassessment notices.
Orland Park residents will have two opportunities to attend an in-person workshop. The first will be held Thursday, June 15 from 6-7 p.m. at the Orland Township Administrative Building at 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue. The second will take place on Wednesday, June 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Orland Park Village Hall, located at 14700 S. Ravinia Avenue.
