The event was a memorable celebration of academic achievement, bringing together students, their families, and community members to honor the students' success. Supervisor Paul O'Grady, who also serves as the President of the Orland Township Scholarship Foundation, presented the awards to the students after dinner, with Trustees Kenneth Duffy, Kenneth Soltis, and Frank Williams in attendance. In his speech, Supervisor O'Grady emphasized the importance of the Foundation’s successful fundraising efforts, which have enabled the organization to continue supporting the educational journeys of local students.

“Over the past several years, the Foundation has awarded more than $250,000 in scholarships to over 300 students,” said Supervisor O’Grady. “These scholarships are a testament to the generosity of our community and the dedication of our students. I am incredibly proud of all of you, and we are excited to continue supporting your academic journeys.”

The Orland Township Scholarship Foundation has become a vital resource for local students seeking financial assistance for their college education. As part of a continued commitment to the success of youth in the area, the Foundation remains dedicated to providing support through its fundraising initiatives, which have helped sustain the scholarship program for many years.

While not all recipients were able to attend the dinner, the Foundation extends its best wishes to all scholarship winners as they embark on their academic and professional futures.
