Orland Township’s Back to School Health Fair Ready to Kick Off the School Year

Orland Township, IL – Orland Township is thrilled to announce its annual Back to School Health Fair on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This exciting event will take place at the Orland Township Administration Building, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462, and offer a variety of free services, fun activities, and important resources to help local students and families prepare for the upcoming school year. Admission is free, though some health services have a fee.

One of the event’s main highlights will be the free pancake breakfast, graciously provided by Gaston’s Bistro. Start your morning with a delicious, complimentary breakfast while enjoying the many other offerings at the fair.

Families will also have access to free haircuts, courtesy of Salon Evangelos, as well as free school supplies for qualifying families through the Orland Township Food Pantry. Dental exams will be offered by Smile Illinois, while vision screenings will be provided by the Lions Club. Additionally, a variety of games, prizes, and giveaways will be available for all ages, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Local vendors will be on-site to showcase their products and services, adding to the excitement of the day.

The fair will also provide important resources to help local families get ready for the school year. School supplies will be distributed to qualifying low-income families residing in Orland Township by the Orland Township Food Pantry. To qualify, families must bring a state ID/driver’s license, last two pay stubs, and proof of school enrollment (such as a school bus route or a letter from the school).
