ORLAND PARK, IL — Before the town’s cutest witches and goblins take to Orland Park streets in search of Halloween’s sweetest bounty, it’s a good idea for parents to check out what Mother Nature has in store for our community’s annual trick-or-treating festivities.

Trick-or-treating in Orland Park is planned for Sunday from 2-7 p.m. Considering the event is just days away, there’s a good chance we might luck out when it comes to the weather.

As you head out on Sunday evening, expect mostly sunny weather, with a high of 58 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Sunday looks to be dry, but the days leading up to Halloween do call for rain in the forecast.

If you want a bit more reassurance on the trick-or-treating forecast, the Accuweather forecast calls for something similar on Sunday. According to Accuweather, it will be sunny with a high of 57 degrees, and a 16 percent chance of rain.
