14 District 308 Students Honored At All-State Music Conference

OSWEGO, IL —Officials with School District 308 say 14 students from the district's various high school music programs shared their talents in Peoria last month at the Illinois Music Educators All-State Conference.

"They were selected from hundreds of students who had made it into the all-district ensembles," officials said. "Congratulations to these talented young musicians."

Students selected for the all-state conference were:

• Tyler Eng (OEHS sophomore, clarinet)
• Alexis Lane (OHS senior, Future Music Educator)
• Vera Mehnert (OEHS senior, chorus)
• Morgan Merrell (OEHS junior, chorus)

• Shane Nelson (OHS senior, Future Music Educator)
• Libby Nold (OEHS senior, chorus)
• Andy Nuttle (OHS sophomore, bass clarinet)
• Emma Peake (OEHS senior, French horn)
