Democratic Candidates Lead Oswego Trustee Race: 2025 Election Results
The four Democratic candidates running for trustee seats in Oswego are in the lead over the four Republicans, unofficial tallies show.

OSWEGO, IL — The Democratic candidates running for trustee seats in Oswego are in the lead, according to unofficial totals from the Kendall County Clerk's Office.
Voters took to the polls Tuesday to vote for four new trustees to join the Oswego Village Board. Available seats on the consolidated election ballot included three four-year terms and one two-year term.
The majority of voters cast their ballots for Democrats Rachelle Koenig, James Cooper and Karen Novy over Republican candidates Jennifer Jones Sinnott, Jim Marter II and Terry Olson for the four-year terms, the clerk's office reported.

Democrat Jennifer Hughes took the lead over Republican Lori West for the unexpired two-year term.

Polls were open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Oswego. Take a look at unofficial tallies from the Kendall County Clerk's Office, with all 25 precincts reporting.
Four-year terms (vote for three)
- Terry Olson: 1,629 votes, or 12.77 percent
- Jennifer Jones Sinnott: 1,589 votes, or 12.46 percent
- Jim Marter II: 1,532 votes, or 12.01 percent
- Rachelle Koenig: 2,760 votes, or 21.64 percent
- James Cooper: 2,593 votes, or 20.33 percent
- Karen Novy: 12,653 votes, or 20.80 percent
Two-year term (vote for one):
- Lori West: 1,648 votes, or 36.9 percent
- Jennifer Hughes: 2,818 votes, or 63.1 percent
