Boulder Hill Man Sentenced for Delivery of Ecstasy

A Boulder Hill man has been sentenced to eight years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty for the unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school zone, said Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis.

Terrance R. McKinney Jr., 19, of the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, Montgomery, was arrested in October 2011 after he facilitated a delivery of MDMA, also known as Ecstasy, to members of the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team (C.P.A.T.).

Weis said the work of C.P.A.T., “has sent a message that selling MDMA or Ecstasy in Kendall County will not be tolerated, and will hopefully act as a deterrent to others who would contemplate committing the same offense.”

McKinney will be required to serve two years of mandatory supervisory release after he serves an eight-year prison sentence.
