Final Curbside Leaf Collection Scheduled In Oswego

Leaf pickup was initially paused due to ice and snow accumulation.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Public Works Department will resume the third and final leaf pickup during the week of Christmas.

"The forecast looks warmer with minimal precipitation, which should allow our Public Works team to continue the collection," village staff wrote in a Facebook post.

Leaf pickup was initially paused due to ice and snow accumulation. As it resumes, wet and frozen leaves could slow the process down, officials said.
