Car Windows Smashed In Front Of Oswego Residence: Police
Police said they are currently investigating the incident as criminal damage to property.
OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Police reported over the weekend that they are investigating an incident of criminal damage to property in the 5200 block of Old Reserve Road. According to a news release sent out by the police department on Sunday, a vehicle on the road, parked in front of a residence, had its windows smashed in by a yet-unknown person.
The release stated that police responded to a report of the incident around 3 a.m. Saturday morning. No injuries were reported from the scene, and police said it seems that nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Police estimated damage to the to be under $1,000.
There are currently no suspects in the incident, and police said the matter is still under investigation.
