OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego woman was accused of endangering the life of her child after her young son was found walking by a pond while she was passed out drunk in their residence, police said.
Maral Nyamgavaa, 34, was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with one count of endangering the life of a child. Oswego police were called to the 2900 block of Emblem Circle at 7:46 p.m. when a caller reported seeing a young boy walking by a pond for about an hour, spokesperson Cathy Nevara told Patch.
When officers attempted to notify the child's mother, they found her unresponsive in her residence. Police determined Nyamgavaa had been intoxicated and then passed out, Nevara said.
