Warrant

Noland C. Clark, 43, of the 21300 block of Somonauk Road, Cortland, was arrested at 7:45 p.m. on a failure to appear warrant, said Oswego police.

Domestic battery

Oswego police investigated a reported domestic battery that occurred at 7:20 p.m. at Washington and Rote 71. They found no supporting parts in the claim.

Domestic battery, warrant

Brandon A. Marcus, 39, of the 300 block of Waterbury Circle, Oswego, was arrested at 10:40 a.m. at his residence on a warrant and also charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Sunday, Dec. 15

Retail theft

Jose A. Cuzvas, 50, of the 500 block of Claim Street, Aurora, was arrested at 7:51 p.m. at Kohl’s in Oswego and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police.

Saturday, Dec. 14

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred at 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Gloria Lane. A vehicle was reported to have its windows broken out. No suspects at this time.

Friday, Dec. 13

Theft

Oswego police took a report of theft that occurred at an unknown time in the 0-99 block of Park Street. A laptop and a digital camera valued at $1,000 were reported stolen.

Thursday, Dec. 12

Possession of cannabis

A male juvenile, 17, was arrested at Oswego High School and charged with the possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams, said Oswego police.

Retail theft

Victoria L. Tilley, 19, of the 1600 block of Lexington, Montgomery; and Cornell T. Harris, 20, of the 5000 block of Vanburen, Chicago, were issued ordinance violation tickets after they were stopped by loss prevention after concealing merchandise, not paying or it and then leaving the store in the 2300 block of Route 34, said Oswego police. They were also issued no-trespass tickets from the business.

Wednesday, Dec. 11

Burglary

Oswego police are investigating a burglary that occurred between Dec. 3 and Dec. 12 in the 300 block of Winthrop Drive. Copper piping valued at $1,600 was stolen from two houses under construction.

Hit and run

Oswego police are investigating a hit and runt hat occurred at 7:05 p.m. in the 200 block of Grays Drive. A vehicle struck a garage door and fled the scene. Damage is estimated at $500.

Possession of fraudulent ID, no valid driver’s license

Genaro Flores, 28, of the 500 block of Preston, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. in the 1500 block of Harvey and charged with the possession of a fraudulent ID and for driving without a valid driver’s license after he was stopped for disobeying a stop sign, said Oswego police.
