Food At PrairieFest: Two Dozen Vendors Share Menus For 4-Day Event

OSWEGO, IL — PrairieFest is just days away from kicking off in Oswego, commemorating the start of summer and Father's Day.

The four-day festival will bring a carnival, live music, a craft fair, a parade and a 5K race — to name just a few activities — to 91 Plank Drive from Thursday to Sunday.

While you wait and game-plan for the weekend, it's worth checking out what vendors will be participating in this summer's PrairieFest. And when it comes to the food you'll have the potential to consume, options are plentiful.

The following eateries will be serving up these menu items throughout the weekend:

Carnival classics

• Balassone's Pizza: Pizza, jumbo pretzel, bosco sticks
• Johnson Bros: Nachos, ribbon fries with cheese, deep-fried pulled pork corndog
• Pina Tropical: Virgin pina coladas, chicken loaded fries, churro bites
• Roasted Corn & Company: Corn on the cob, elotes bowls, Doritos/Takis street corn and bowls
• Suzie's Fun Foods: Corn dogs, bucket of fries, toasted ravioli, pickle chips, deep-fried treats

• Hello Boba: Fruit refreshers, smoothies
• Feeding Frenzy: Cones, shakes, sundaes, banana splits
