Kendall County Coronavirus Update: 4 New Cases; 2 More Recoveries
The Kendall County Health Department announced four new cases Wednesday evening.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Health Department reported four new coronavirus cases on Wednesday night, as well as two additional cases that have entered recovery. This brings the total number of cases thus far reported in the county to 124, while a little less than half of those cases - 56 - are in recovery. There are still only three coronavirus-related deaths thus far reported in the county.
Most coronavirus patients in the county do not require hospitalization, county records indicate. About 79 percent of all cases report home isolation, compared to only 21 percent that were moved to area hospitals. Most cases in the county appear in individuals in their 40s and 50s, and almost a third of all county cases were reported from Oswego.
As of Thursday morning, there were 639,733 confirmed coronavirus cases in the U.S., including 24,593 in Illinois.
