Kendall County Coronavirus Update: 6 New Cases; 3 Recoveries
The Kendall County Health Department reported an additional six cases of coronavirus in the county on April 3, including one minor.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Health Department confirmed another six new coronavirus cases on Friday, April 3. This brings the total number of cases in the county to 45, including two coronavirus-related deaths. The new cases include three men between their 40s and 60s, two women in their 20s and 60s, and one adolescent girl. The adolescent case marks the youngest yet confirmed in the county.
There were over 250,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in the U.S. on Friday, including over 7,600 cases in Illinois.
More optimistically, the health department is also reporting three coronavirus recoveries. One man in his 50s and two women in their 50s and 60s have beaten the virus and are now on the mend.

In hopes of seeing more recoveries like theirs, the county continues to urge all residence to stay at home, practice social distancing when out in public, and regularly wash hands and sanitize high-use surfaces.
