Kendall County Coronavirus Update: Now Over 200 Confirmed Cases
By Sunday, the Kendall County Health Department confirmed over 200 coronavirus cases among residents.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Health Department announced over the weekend that 211 cases of coronavirus had been confirmed in the county, of which 121 cases were in recovery. The county's coronavirus-related death toll remains at six. The virus has affected more men than women in the county, and most cases of infection are among those aged between their 40s and 50s.
As of Monday morning, there were 43,903 confirmed coronavirus cases in Illinois, and 967,585 cases confirmed in the U.S.
The health department also issued a reminder to county residents over the weekend regarding how to go about errands safely. Some tips include wearing gloves to pump gas and washing hands after handling money. Here is a full list of the county's safe errand recommendations:

- Avoid running errands if you or a household member are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19
- Communicate with your primary care physician’s office by telephone
- Order food and other items online for home delivery or curbside pickup (if possible)
- Disinfect the shopping cart prior to use
- Stay at least 6 feet away from others while shopping and in lines
- Use hand sanitizer right after paying
- Cover your mouth and nose with a cloth face covering when are running errands
- Run errands during hours when fewer people will be out
- Consider using gloves to pump gas
- Whenever possible, use touchless payment
- After leaving the store, doctors office or gas station, use hand sanitizer
- When you get home, wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
