KENDALL COUNTY, IL — Kendall County residents and visitors will have the chance to dispose of unused, unwanted and expired medication on National Drug Take-Back Day this weekend.

The Kendall County Coroner's Office is participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration's event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free and anonymous event will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of the Richard A. Randall Public Safety Center, 1102 Cornell Lane.

National Drug Take-Back Day happens twice each year, first in April and again in October. The collection helps prevent medications from being flushed down the toilet and ending up in the local drinking water supply.
