2022-0847, Traffic Crash with Injury:  On 03/15/22 at 5:00 a.m., deputies responded to McKanna Road and Van Dyke Road, Seward Township, for a single vehicle traffic crash with injury.  The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, Richard A. Knaperek, a 56-year-old male from Manhattan was transported with non-life threatening injuries to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet by Lisbon Seward Fire Protection District Paramedics.

2022-0847, Traffic Crash with Injury: 

2022-0848, Identity Theft: On 03/15/22 at 9:24 a.m., deputies received a report of an identity theft that occurred in the 0 to 99 block of Timbercreek Drive, Kendall Township. The investigation is ongoing.

2022-0855, Domestic Battery: On 03/15/22 at 6:21 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery in the 0 to 99 block of Marnel Road, Oswego Township. Roberto Martinez-Lepe, a 32-year-old male from the 0 to 99 block of Marnel Road, Oswego Township, was taken into custody for domestic battery. Martinez-Lepe was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.

The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
