2022-0713, Traffic Crash with Injuries: On 03/02/22 at 10:47 am, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a traffic crash with injuries in the 800 block of John St., Bristol Township. Christine L. Zwart, a 52-year-old female from the 1800 block of Country Hills Drive in Yorkville was assessed by Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District for non-life-threatening injuries.

2022-0717, Possession of Cannabis: On 03/02/22 at 7:44 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Route 34 near Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego Township for expired registration. The driver, Jakob V. Galvez, a 22-year-old male from the 2000 block of Shauna Drive in Montgomery, was cited for possession of adult cannabis in a motor vehicle, and expired registration. Galvez was issued recognizance bonds and released.
2022-0720, In-State Warrant: On 03/02/22 at 8:01 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Douglas Road in Oswego Township. During the investigation, contact was made with the driver, Priscilla Diaz, a 20-year-old female from the 1000 block of Kevin Drive in Montgomery, who was found to have a valid Kane County warrant for Disorderly Conduct (bond set at $1,000/10%, plus $75 FTA fee). Diaz was taken into custody and transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.
The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
