Last Day Of School In District 308 Pushed Back To May 31
If more snow days are necessary, the last day of school could move to as late as June 3, officials said.
OSWEGO, IL — District 308 officials say the last day of school is now May 31 for students in Oswego and Montgomery. It had previously been scheduled for May 24, but was moved back due to the number of snow days already taken this year. If more snow days are necessary, officials say, the district will make up a maximum of five more emergency days, which could move the last day of school to as late as June 3.
Officials say each school in the district will announce graduation and 8th grade promotion dates by early spring.
As it stands now, high school finals are scheduled for the week of Memorial Day, which falls on Monday, May 27 this year.
