OSWEGO, IL — Oswego's downtown business district will be the star of the Oswegoland Heritage Association and Little White School Museum's walking history tour Aug. 23.

Guides will lead a leisurely walk through the heart of downtown, along Main Street from Jefferson Street to Washington Street, explaining how the area evolved into the collection of shops and offices it is today. The tour will start at 4:30 p.m., beginning and ending in front of the Oswego Public Library, 32 Jefferson St.

"All communities evolve and change with time and Oswego is no different," organizers said in a news release.
