Letter: Senior Center Gives Thanks to Rush-Copley

We would like to thank Dr. Santosh Gill, Medical Director of Cardiology Services at Rush Copley for appearing at the on April 25.  

Her talk was both informative and inspiring.  In addition, our thanks go to Laura Barr from University of Illinois Extension Program and Stephanie McCubbin of Whole Foods for the cooking demonstration and tasting of healthy foods.  

All attendees were surprised how good tasting healthy food can be.  Other refreshments were provided by Rush Copley. 

Also, thanks to the following organizations who were on hand to dispense useful information:  Aurora University's Community Leaders Active Adult  Committee; Aurora University Institute for Collaboration, Fox Valley Heart Foundation, City of Aurora, Rush-Copley Medical Center, Fox Valley Park District, Oswegoland Park District, Aurora Township and Heart Sisters.
