Police said they are currently investigating a criminal damage to property report in which they said a man punched a truck taillight.

OSWEGO, IL — According to a press release sent out by the Oswego Police on Friday, they are currently investigating a potential criminal damage to property incident that occurred on Thursday, April 2. The incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. in Hudson Crossing Park, and they said it involved a man possibly punching a vehicle's taillight.

According to the police, two Aurora residents - a 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman - were sitting in a pick-up truck in the parking lot when another man approached the vehicle and an argument between the parties ensued. The man who approached the vehicle was reported to have eventually punched one of its taillights and broke it, police said. The man's age was not revealed; neither was his relationship, if any, to the two people in the truck.

"Somebody reported that they got into an argument with somebody at the park, and the individual came and broke their taillight. We're still investigating it," Oswego PD Public Information Officer Cathy Nevara said.
