Man Struck, Injured By Vehicle In Oswego Friday: Police

The 69-year-old victim from Westchester was transported to an area hospital with injuries, police said.

OSWEGO, IL — A man was struck by a vehicle on Friday at Washington Street in Oswego, village police said.

The 69-year-old victim from Westchester was transported to an area hospital with injuries after the accident at 8:33 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle, Stephen K. Pederson, 34, of Fox Ridge Lane, Aurora, was ticketed by police for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said. Pederson is scheduled to appear in court on the citation Nov. 11.
