Midnight Hit-And-Run Causes $1500 In Damage: Oswego Police

A two-car crash in Oswego just after midnight on Monday, Dec. 16 resulted in $1500 in damage to one driver's vehicle.

OSWEGO, IL — Village police responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash just after midnight on Monday, Dec. 16. According to the incident report provided by the police, the crash caused approximately $1500 worth of damage to the struck car.

A Ford Escape was southbound on Orchard Road, Oswego Police Public Information Officer Cathy Nevara said, when an unidentified vehicle pulled out in front of the Ford onto Orchard from eastbound Tuscany Trail. The two cars collided, damaging front passenger side of the Ford. No one was injured, but the driver of the unidentified vehicle fled the scene.

Police did not release the name of the Ford driver, or indicate if they have any suspects regarding the driver who fled.
