Cam was a people person; larger than life; full of joy and compassion. He was quick to forgive, worked to live at peace with everyone, and desired to live a Christ-like life. He often called himself an “old soul,” as he loved and knew all the words to all the Oldies and Big Band songs, as well as old and new Christian songs.

Cam treasured time with his family. He was constantly calling his brother, Kyle, for advice, talking with his sister-in-law (sister to him), Tabitha, bouncing ideas off of his mom and dad, and taking his grandma for groceries. Cam simply loved being with his family and loved his Lord Jesus.

Cam is survived by his parents; his brother, Kyle (Tabitha) Newberry; maternal grandma, Mary Lou Estell; maternal grandpa, Roger (Gayle) Estell; and his uncles, Larry (Sue), Ryan (Diana), Scott (Cindy), and Shannon (Julie) Estell. Many cousins and dear friends also survive.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rose Chavez and Alfred Newberry; and uncle, Allen Newberry.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Harvest New Beginnings Church, 5315 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL. A time of fellowship and luncheon will be held following the service. Keeping with Cam’s way of living simple, cremation rites have been accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Moody Bible Institute, Stewardship Office, 820 N. LaSalle Blvd., Chicago, IL 60610, In memory of Camden Newberry.
