Oswego 308 Cancels School for Second Day, Garbage Services Resume

The cold spell continues in Oswego and students get an extra day of winter break.

Oswego 308 Director of Communications and Public Relations Brian Graves has confirmed that school will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 7 on account of the weather.

Tuesday was to be students' first day back for the spring semester. 

If you know of other closings in the area for Tuesday, post below.

Other Oswego Closings for Tuesday:

  • Oswego Senior Center
  • Kendall Area Transit will open at 12 p.m. on Tuesday. Routes will run as normal, although there may be weather-related delays. 
  • The Oswego YMCA will open at 1 p.m. Tuesday
Groot garbage and recycling pick-up is scheduled to resume on Tuesday. Everything will be delayed by one day, so if your pick-up was for Monday yours will be picked up Tuesday, etc.
