Oswego Fire Dept. To Offer Scholarship To Two High School Seniors

The two scholarships are each worth $500 and are available to seniors looking to enter a college or university in the Autumn of 2020.

OSWEGO, IL — Each year the Oswego Fire Protection District awards two $500 scholarships. The application period is now open and applications are due no later than April 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm. Two outstanding high school seniors will be chosen to receive a $500.00 scholarship to be used at an institution of higher learning. In honor of the dedicated leadership and service of all members of our fire district both past & present, the Oswego Fire Protection District would again like to award two $500.00 scholarships. These scholarships will be granted to residents of the Oswego Fire Protection District whom have graduated and are pursuing a degree in the fall of 2020.

The Oswego Fire Protection District was formed by voter referendum in March of 1936, covers over 50 square miles in the northeast portion of Kendall County and about 1.5 square miles of northwest unincorporated Will County.
