OSWEGO, IL — After being rained out on Sunday, the Oswego High School homecoming parade will not be rescheduled, District 308 said Monday. The parade cannot be rescheduled due to restrictions on notifications of road closures, according to the department.

Oswego High School's homecoming parade is meant as the kick-off to homecoming week, which is filled with school-spirit-strengthening activities. The parade generally closes a number of streets between the school and the parade's finishing line in Downtown Oswego.

Aside from the parade, the school has a number of events planned for students, including "spirit days" with themed dress-down days. Food trucks will be brought in for lunch Thursday, and a pep assembly will be held on Friday.
