Oswego Kids Design T-Shirts For 'Character Counts' Week

OSWEGO, IL —District 308 students are marking "Character Counts" week with three new t-shirts, which are available to the public. Students from three levels of the local school system designed the shirts.

The third week in October is annual "character counts" week throughout the U.S. District 308 marks the week by hosting an annual t-shirt design contest, with the winning designs going on t-shirts that are on sale to the community.

This year's winning designs come from: Tom Morgano, Oswego High School graduate, Hailey Soriaga, Plank Junior High student, and Poppy Benwell, Old Post Elementary student. Each student will receive a free shirt of their winning design.

Each design is available as a short-sleeve t-shirt, a long-sleeve t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt, with three colors available in every style. T-shirts cost $16, long-sleeves cost $21 and sweatshirts cost $32.
