Oswego Man Convicted Of 'Horrific Sexual Acts' Against Children Sentenced To Life
Officials said the 51-year-old showed no emotion and made no statement after he was sentenced.

OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego man was sentenced to natural life in prison last week for sexually assaulting three children after he was found guilty of six counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in February.
An investigation into Brian Hulsey began in August 2021, when three victims, all family members, told police that Hulsey committed "multiple horrific sexual acts" on each of them, starting as early as 2018, when one victim was only 7 years old.
All three victims were under age 13 when the sexual assaults occurred, prosecutors said. Each victim completed a victim sensitive interview at the Kendall County Child Advocacy Center and, under Illinois law, two of the three interviews were played during Hulsey's trial. All three victims took the stand and described the assaults Hulsey committed against them at a home in Oswego, officials said.

Kendall County State's Attorney Eric Weis praised the continued courage and strength shown by the victims.
"These victims came forward and had to face the man that was supposed to protect them. Instead, Hulsey committed unthinkable acts upon each of them," Weis said. "They will have to live with that trauma. The good news is that Hulsey will spend the rest of his life paying for the trauma that he caused each of them. Life in prison is exactly the sentence for this predator."
