Oswego Man Hospitalized After Two-Car Crash
An Oswego man failed to yield while making a left turn onto Route 34, resulting in non-life threatening injuries.
OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego man ended up in the hospital on Monday afternoon, Jan. 20, after being involved in a two-car crash on Route 34. According to a report from the Oswego Police Department, the crash occurred around 3:15 p.m. when the 42-year-old Oswego resident failed to yield before making a left turn onto Route 34 from Orchard Road.
He and another driver, a 50-year-old Plano woman, collided as he was making his turn. The Plano woman walked away from the crash uninjured, but the Oswego man sustained non-life threatening injuries. First responders took him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to the police, no citations have been issued against either driver. Besides the injuries the 42-year-old sustained, the crash caused approximately $1500 in damages to the two drivers' collective vehicles.
