Oswego PD Community Service Officer Joins Kendall County Sheriff's Office
The former community service officer for the Oswego Police Department was sworn in to fill a vacancy in the correctional division.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office has hired a new deputy to fill a vacancy in the Correctional Division. Juventino Aguirre was sworn in on Thursday, January 9th, 2025, by Undersheriff Bobby Richardson.
Deputy Aguirre will be attending the eight-week Correctional Officer Training program at the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy which will begin on January 27th. In the meantime, he will complete an office acclimation phase, and upon completion of the training academy, he will be paired with experienced field training officers for a rigorous 11-week field training program.

Deputy Aguirre attended Waubonsee Community College and most recently worked as a Community Service Officer at the Oswego Police Department prior to joining the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. He also participated in the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Program and was a member of the Kendall County Emergency Management Agency. Additionally, he is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician.
