Oswego Police Blotter Oct. 31- Nov. 6

Arrest reports include a stolen vehicle and a pot bust.

OSWEGO, IL — Even though the Oswego Police blotter is a bit quieter than last week's, there's still plenty of arrest reports. Offenses include: car theft, a teenage pot bust and a broken window from a mystery shooter. The following items were taken from the Oswego Police Department's accident and incident reports for the week of Oct. 31 - the early morning of Nov. 6.

Jason W. Fountain, 21, of the 13000 block of S. Hadfield Drive in Plainfield, was arrested Oct. 31 and charged with a failure to appear warrant. The arrest was made at 7:44 p.m. on the 0 block of Adams St.

Eduardo Quinones was transported Nov. 2 to Rush Copley Medical for a physical evaluation after a single car accident at 350 5th St.

Hetal D. Patel, 48, of Plainfield, was struck by an SUV driven by Headley G Darren, 43, of Oswego, when Darren failed to yield at the intersection of Wolfs Crossing and 5th Street. Patel was transported to Rush Copley for minor head and neck injuries.

Benjamin L. Ryder, 18, of Hedgerow Lane in Oswego, was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest was made Nov. 4 at 2:50 a.m.

Woodrow Edwards Jr., 48, of the 200 block of Wilson Place in Oswego, was arrested Nov. 4 at 11 p.m. for driving with a revoked license, no valid proof of insurance and expired registration.

Nov. 4, Oswego Police investigate alleged criminal damage to a vehicle in the area of Wolf’s Crossing and Southbury Boulevard at 9:50 p.m.

Police arrested Saul Holguin, 38, of Yorkville, at the corner of Rt. 30 and Proclamation Drive. He was charged with a DUI, driving with a revoked license and failure to reduce speed.

Oswego Police are looking into criminal damage to a property at 12 N. Adams St. A window was shot some time between Nov. 4 - Nov. 5 with a BB gun. Anyone with information is encouraged to call police at 630-551-7300.

A stolen vehicle was reported Nov. 6 at 1 a.m. The car was allegedly taken from the 100 block of Concord Drive.

Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
