Oswego Police Hosting Annual Car And Truck Show Saturday
New this year will be the car corral, will people can bring cars they are looking to sell.
OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Police Department will host the third annual Car and Truck Show on Saturday. The event showcases a number of retro cars and trucks, as well as a place for people to buy and sell vehicles, according to the department.
Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Kendall 11 Movie Theater, 95 Fifth St, the event will be free to the public. Those wishing to display a car in the show will have to pay $5, and pre-registration can be completed here.
The event will feature the traditional retro and classic cars on display for the viewing public, with prizes going to the best cars. But there are some new features this year.

This year's event will feature a Jeep class, and awards will be given for best Jeep. Also new this year will be car corral, where people can bring cars they have for sale. Entering a car into the corral costs $15.
Those coming to the event will have free coffee, can enter a 50/50 raffle and win door prizes, according to the event's Facebook page. For more information on the event, click here.
