Oswego Police Identify Kensington Drive Suspected Shooter
A handgun was fired outside of an Oswego home Tuesday evening.

OSWEGO, IL — A suspect who tried to shoot a woman Tuesday evening outside his home in the 300 block of Kensington Drive has been identified. David G. Barber, 56, has been charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and violation of FOID Act.
Oswego Police Officers were dispatched around 5:30. When officers spoke to witnesses, they determined that a handgun was discharged outside the suspect's home in the direction of a female who was driving.
A press release from the Oswego Police Department said that Barber is not thought to live with or be related to the victim. No injuries occurred, and it appears to be an isolated incident, not gang related, police said. Barber was booked at Kendall County Jail and awaits a bond hearing.
