Oswego Senior Center Hosting Cocktail Fundraiser

This year's fundraiser will have a "Rock and Roll" theme, including an Elvis tribute.

OSWEGO, IL — The Oswego Senior Center will host a rock and roll-themed cocktail party in November. The event, featuring a tribute to Elvis, will serve as a fundraiser for the local senior center.

The cocktail party fundraiser will take place from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1 at the Whitetail Ridge Golf Club, 7671 Clubhouse Dr. in Yorkville. Entertainment will include rock music from the 60's and 70's, plus a tribute to Elvis. There will be an open bar, appetizers and a dessert spread.

Tickets for the event cost $35 for adults and $30 for seniors age 60 and over, and they can be bought here. Raffles will also be held, with proceeds benefiting Oswego Senior Center programming. The center is also seeking donations for the raffle.

The Oswego Senior Center, 156 E Washington St., host programming, seminars and other events for area senior citizens. Upcomming program includes heart and bones fitness classes (daily), a craft fair (Nov. 16), and a trip to the Volo Auto Museum (Oct. 30).
