Art classes, hearing screenings, and a chance to learn about a trip to Yellowstone - all on the list for the second half of the second month

Instructors Gary Tollaksen and Bob LeClercq hold open computer lab, 12:30 – 1:30pm for one-on-one help with your electronic device or PC at the Oswego Senior Center, 156 E. Washington St. Open lab dates are: Thursday: February 13, February 20 and February 27. Computer classes are held on Tuesdays, 1- 2:30pm: February 18, “Learn How to backup Important Files to OneDrive”, February 25, “Learn How to Solve Problems and Increase Knowledge”. Free Hearing Screen

OSC Painting Club

Tuesday, February, 18, 1:30 - 3:30pm

Coffee and Canvas instructor Jennifer Hunger of Coffee and Canvas brings interesting art projects to the Oswego Senior Center located at 156 E. Washington St. This engaging program requires no prior experience and is intergenerational—invite, family, friends or neighbors to come for a fun afternoon with others and enjoy painting. February’s project is entitled “Floral Arrangement”. All materials and instruction are included. Registration is required and payment in cash at class of $27.50. Yellowstone & Wild West Travel Tour Presentation

Your tour continues with the Faneuil Hall Marketplace and the JFK Presidential Library & Museum. Then head to Cape Cod for a five night stay highlighting Plymouth Rock, the Cape Cod National Seashore, Provincetown, Hyannis and a scenic ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard. Signing Instead of Shouting

Have you ever wanted to talk with your hands? If the answer is “yes” then come join us at Oswego Senior Center, 156 E. Washington St. for lessons in sign language. Beginners will meet Tuesday mornings at 9:30-10:30. Advanced Beginners will meet the same day at 10:00-11:00 and overlap with Beginners to share their new talent and provide practice for the Beginners. There is a one-time fee of $5.00. Free Ice Cream Celebration and Musical Bingo

Tuesday, February 25, 1-3pm

We invite seniors age 60 or more to celebrate “Fat Tuesday” at Oswego Senior Center, 156 E. Washington St. Right at Home, in Home Care Assistance and Astra Health are sponsoring build your own sundae and musical bingo with prizes on Tuesday, February 25, 1- 3pm. You will need to reserve your seat for this free, fun afternoon. Call 630-554-5602 by February 21st to reserve your place. Seating is limited!

OSWEGO SENIOR CENTER CONGREGATE MEAL PROGRAM

The Oswego Senior Center, 156 E. Washington, offers congregate lunch to seniors (age 60 plus) Monday, Wednesday and Thursday each week at noon. Reservations are required by 10am the business day prior to lunch. Suggested $5 donation.
