Monday, June 13

Bicycles stolen

  • A resident in the 700 block of  Keene Avenue reported to Oswego Police that a BMX bicycle was stolen from their front yard at about 4:15 p.m. Monday. The bike is valued at $800.

  • Another resident in the 400 block of Bower Lane also had a bicycle stolen from their front yard at about the same time that day. That bike was valued at about $115.
  • Sunday, June 12

    Walmart theft

    Darrell Barber, 19, of Aurora, was charged with retail theft at about 2:40 p.m. Sunday at the Oswego Walmart, according to an Oswego police report. He is accused of stealing about $187 worth of merchandise, the report said. Barber was given a July 12 court date.

    GPS stolen

    A resident in the 100 block of Concord Drive reported a GPS unit was stolen from their vehicle sometime before 9:45 a.m. Sunday, according to an Oswego police report. The GPS is valued at about $100.

    Friday, June 10

    Paraphernalia possession

    Ryan Spaulding, 19,  of 254 Isleview Drive, Oswego, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 11 p.m. Friday at Route 71 and Wolf Road, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a July 8 court date.

    Wednesday, June 8

    Residential burglary

    A resident in the 300 block of Furlong, reported to police June 8 that someone entered her garage sometime before 9 a.m. that day and removed a laptop computer and a purse, according to an Oswego police report. The resident did report leaving the garage door open overnight. Approximate loss was estimated at $310.
