Theft

Oswego police took a report of a theft that occurred at an unknown time in the 200 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard. An iPhone valued at $600 was reported stolen.

A pedestrian walked onto the roadway in front of vehicle unit 1 at 7:05 p.m. at Washington and Route 71. The vehicle struck the pedestrian, who was transported to Rush Copley. The pedestrian was cited in the incident.

Sunday, Nov. 10

DUI, possession of cannabis, drug paraphernalia

David W. Ansani, 53, of the 800 block of North Racine, Chicago, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. at Route 31 and Century Drive and charged with driving under the influence, possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police took a report for theft that occurred at 6:20 p.m. at Ogden Falls Boulevard and Route 34 for $60.

Saturday, Nov. 9

DUI

Lemon J. Redmon, 32, of the 700 block of Concord, Aurora, was arrested at 12 a.m. at Douglas and Old Post Road following an accident and was charged with driving under the influence and failure to yield while turning left, said Oswego police.

No valid driver’s license

A female juvenile, 17, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. at Main and Fuller and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported theft that occurred at an unknown time in the 100 block of Chesterfield. A porch swing valued at $360 was stolen from a residence.

Burglary to a motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report for burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 6:09 p.m. in the 400 block of Arboretum Way.

Friday, Nov. 8

Credit Card theft

  • Oswego police took a report for credit card theft that occurred at an unknown time at the Oswego Wal-Mart and Meijer. The victim reported his credit car was used at the above stores for a total loss of $656.13.
  • Oswego police took a report for credit card theft that occurred at 8:25 p.m. The victim reported his credit card was used to make unauthorized purchase.

Thursday, Nov. 7

Retail theft, obstructing a peace officer, resisting a peace officer

David D. Raspiller Jr., 50, of the 100 block of Heathgate, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. in the 2500 block of Route 30, Oswego, and charged with retail theft, obstructing a pace officer and resisting a peace officer, said Oswego police.

Retail theft

Jessica L. Klotz-Sadien, 25, of 1100 block of Light Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 6:19 pm. In the 2300 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police.

Domestic battery

Jamee Kerkman, 42, of the 300 block of Cascade Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 11:11 p.m. at her residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police took a report for burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred on Nov. 4 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Route 34. Prescription medication valued at $150 was reported taken from the victim’s unlocked vehicle.
