Reward Increases for Info on Oswego Veterans Memorial Graffiti

The reward for information leading to an arrest is now $2,000

Kendall County Crime Stoppers has increased the reward for information on graffiti left at the Oswego Veterans Memorial, according to a press release. The reward was $1,000, but now it is $2,000.

On January 3, police received a report of spray paint graffiti on the back wall of the Oswego Veterans Memorial.

According to Only Oswego, workers from Nedrow Decorating in Aurora and Five Star Equipment Rental of Naperville removed the graffiti on January 18. The walls at the memorial were then sealed to facilitate any future graffiti removal.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Oswego Police Department at 630- 551-7300 or to report it anonymously to Kendall County Crime Stoppers at 630-553-5999.
