OSWEGO, IL — Oswego residents took to the polls Tuesday to narrow down the Republican candidates running for trustee in April's consolidated election.

The primary election was held to narrow down the four Republican trustee candidates running for the three four-year positions to match the number of Democrat candidates who filed.

Voters chose between the two incumbents Kit Kuhrt and Jennifer Jones Sinnott as well as Jim Marter II and Terry Olson. The top three candidates advance to the consolidated election on April 1, with Kuhrt receiving the fewest number of votes.
