Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?
…because of the efforts, passion and love put into making sure everything that can be done is and always having a constant great follow-through and always having a plan to assure that the best services are being rendered. This department pulls together and pulls through from the time of entrance, to lunch, to the support during her extracurricular activity (Cheer), throughout the school day. They provide extra support in the halls, assistance with passing and bathroom time is put forth with a passion as if she’s their very own. They continue to come up with more ways to support and tend to the needs of not just my girls but all students under their care.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?
One thing I want everyone to know about my nominee is the work being put forth is definitely not just from training or needing a job, it’s from the love and passion being poured into the minds and future upstanding citizens that is coming from OHS.
Thank you for all you do, Oswego High School Special Education Department!
