Senior Citizen Injured In Two-Car Crash: Oswego Police

The crash resulted in minor injuries to one of the drivers, the police report said, but luckily no fatalities were reported.

OSWEGO, IL — A two-car crash on Saturday, Dec. 21 left one senior driver with minor injuries, an Oswego Police report stated. According to that report, the crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. near the Best Buy on 2600 Route 34 . Police responded a few moments later.

Both drivers in the crash were over the age of fifty, the report stated. One was a 53-year-old Aurora man who walked away from the collision unscathed, while the injured driver was a 62-year-old Montgomery woman. No fatalities or other injured persons were reported.

The police levied no charges against either driver, though it is estimated that the collision caused an estimated $1500 in damage to their vehicles.

Less than three hours later and under a mile away, another unrelated - and much more serious - traffic incident occurred in Oswego on Saturday.
