No tornadoes have been reported, but funnel clouds were spotted over the west side of Oswego at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
According to ComEd's outage map, less than 500 customers in the Aurora region, which includes Oswego, were without power as of 9:45 p.m.
A large tree at Route 34 and Kendall Point Drive was blown over by the storm, blocking three lanes of traffic. According to Oswego police reports, the tree was cleared by about 9:40 p.m.

Kendall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Craig French said there were no confirmed tornado sightings but there were unofficial reports throughout the county.

Kelly Frazier All clear on my drive up 31, 30 and Douglas. Power was on everywhere I passed, and the only thing I saw in the road was a blow up dinosaur in the middle of a subdivision, no danger there! lol :)
