Stanley Cup Finals Puts Oswego Blackhawks Fan in Hospital

At one point many of us have jokingly said "we're going to die" or "this is killing  me" while watching sports games.

The Blackhawks Stanley Cup Finals are no exception, but for one Oswego man, those sentiments struck a little too close to home.

Dave Thomas suffered a heart attack in the Blackhawk's Monday night loss to the Bruins and ended up at Edward Hospital in Naperville, according to NBC 5 Chicago. 

The scare didn't stop him from watching Game Four from his hospital bed, where he told NBC his heart monitor was off the charts with his yelling. 

Game Five is for Saturday and Thomas said he hopes to be out of the hospital by then.
