UPDATE: Three Involved in Sunday Accident Remain Hospitalized

One teen was taken by helicopter to Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, while two others were sent to Rush-Copley Medical Center.

The three teenagers Sunday morning on Route 30 remained hospitalized Monday morning.

According to a media spokeswoman at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Amber Davis, 18, of Montgomery, is listed in critical condition. Davis was taken by emergency helicopter to Good Samaritan.

Davis was a passenger a vehicle driven by Anthony Halstead, 19, of Oswego. According to , Halstead's vehicle collided with another car driven by James Biever of Big Rock at about 9:30 a.m. Sunday on Route 30 near Douglas Road. Halstead was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, and is listed in fair condition, according to a media spokeswoman.

The driver of a third vehicle involved in the accident, Ariana Stone, 18, of Aurora, also was listed in fair condition Monday morning at Rush Copley.

Both Halstead and Biever were ticketed for failure to yield to avoid an accident. Biever was not hospitalized.
