Two Injured In New Year's Eve Crash: Oswego Police

The Oswego Police Department is currently investigating a two-car crash on New Year's Eve that resulted in hospitalization for two people.

OSWEGO, IL — A two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 5 p.m. on Dec. 31, New Year's Eve, resulted in injuries and hospitalization for two people, the Oswego police report. The incident took place in the 1300 block of Route 30, near the intersection with Gastville Street.

According to the police report, An SUV collided with a sedan - both of undisclosed make and model - injuring both the driver and single passenger of the sedan. The driver of the sedan was a 19 year old Aurora man, while the passenger was a 33 year old man from Montgomery. Both were taken by emergency response personnel to a local hospital for their injuries. In the SUV, both the driver - a 69 year old Shorewood woman and the passenger - a 63 year old Joliet woman - were uninjured.

The report did not specify if any charges are being levied against any party involved in the crash at this time.
