An Aurora man driving a Kia Sorento was exiting a shopping center just after 3 p.m. when he turned wide, crossed into oncoming traffic and slammed head-on into another car, investigators determined.

A Sandwich man, who drove the car that was hit, was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The Aurora man was issued a citation for improper lane usage.
