Patch: Since starting your business, what are you most proud of?
Petschow: Having started the business with my husband Brian and our kids running the service calls, I am proud to look back on our company’s growth and welcome our new employees to the family. But the success at our company is not due to luck, rather the continued effort and hard work put in by our team.

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Petschow: I believe that Brian and Sons stands out from the rest of the heating and cooling companies in our area, not only because we are a small woman-owned business — as rare as that is for this field — but also for our integrity. We truly believe in putting the client’s needs first, operating a 24/7 emergency service, available even through the holidays.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Petschow: The most satisfying part of my job is hearing from happy customers, whether in regard to the quiet comfort of their new system or the pleasant helpful demeanor of our technicians.

Patch: Are there any new projects or endeavors you’re working on that you’re extra excited about?
Petschow: Currently, the most exciting project we are working on is the Dairy Barn on Main Street in Oswego. As we are located right next door at 113 Main St., Suite 202, we look forward to stopping in for ice cream and visiting our community following the completion of this project.
In addition, we are sponsoring some events and activities around town, including the upcoming Gobbler Hobbler and Fraidy Cat races as well as sports held through the park district.

Patch: How can Patch readers learn more about your work and business?
